This part of Mexico (Puebla) is a region which physically reminds me a great deal of East Africa. Its very dry, generally the rainy season is in June to August, and the vegetation and rolling ground has that ancient primeval look to it especially with the volcanoes which dot the landscape. We arrived here on Decmber 26th 2004 and stayed in Mexico City which is at 5000 feet. This coming from sea level in Toronto did not go unnoticed by my body.
